The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Mélanie Leblanc as interim vice-principal at École Alliance St-Joseph in Chelmsford for the 2015-2016 school year. In addition to her teaching expertise, Mrs. Leblanc has accumulated a wealth of experience through her participation in various learning projects at École St-Denis in Sudbury. Among her contributions, we note her participation in blended learning initiatives for students and in the production of a television program for the Ministry of Education featuring the cultural pedagogical approach to teaching. Mrs. Leblanc was also responsible for a team of teachers during the meetings of professional learning communities dedicated to oral communication.
“We are pleased that Mrs. Leblanc, who counts several years of teaching experience in our French-language Catholic schools, will be able to put her leadership skills to good use in the upcoming school year,” stated CSCNO president André Bidal.
Mrs. Lyse-Anne Papineau, Director of Education at the CSCNO, added: “Our school principals and vice-principals act as catalysts for our Catholic professional learning community. We greatly value the capabilities and leadership skills that enable them to engage our students and staff in raising their standards.”
The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
