During its recent board of trustees meeting held on March 31, 2015 the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) approved the placement of school principals and vice-principals for the 2015-2016 school year.

The (CSCNO) proudly announces the appointment of Mrs. Julie Laframboise as Principal at École St-Paul in Lively, Mr. Charles de la Riva as Principal at École St-Étienne in Dowling and Michel Lavergne as Principal at École St-Joseph in Dubreuilville. Mr.  Paul Henry will hold the position of Principal at Carrefour Options+ and École secondaire du Sacré-Cœur in Sudbury while Mrs. Lynn Ruest McGuire will hold the position of Vice-Principal at École Jean-Paul II in Val Caron and École Félix-Ricard in Sudbury.

“We will greatly benefit from a continued stability among our leaders in our elementary and secondary Catholic schools during the 2015-2016 school year,” stated Mr. André Bidal, CSCNO President.

Mrs. Lyse-Anne Papineau, Director of Education at the CSCNO, added: “Our school principals and vice-principals act as catalysts for our Catholic professional learning community. We greatly value the capabilities and leadership skills that enable them to engage our students and staff in raising their standards.”

Other nominations will be announced prior to the end of the 2014-2015 school year.

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
