It was with great enthusiasm that students from elementary Catholic schools Alliance St-Joseph (Chelmsford) and St-Denis (Sudbury) recently took part in the production of Radio-Canada’s television youth program ONIVA!. The program featuring Alliance St-Joseph students will be broadcast during various weekly segments starting in January while students from École St-Denis will be featured on Radio-Canada on Sunday, March 29, at 9:30 a.m.

The grade 6 students from École Alliance St-Joseph were featured in the Vox Pop segment of the nationally televised program and were interviewed individually on a variety of topics and questions. The students will be featured several times over the course of the season. The Vox pop segment, filmed in various schools across the country, will be incorporated in the program on a weekly basis.

Grade 6 students from École St-Denis were participants in the games portion of the show with host Olivier Mercure. The students had opportunities to measure their skills in speed games that gauged knowledge and wit in a fun-filled setting.
