École secondaire catholique l’Horizon invites the public to its annual Christmas community concert commemorating the school’s 25th anniversary on Sunday, December 7, at 1:30 p.m. No less than 40 people will share their musical talents during this activity set to take place in the school located at 1650 Valleyview Road in Val Caron. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and children and can be reserved by calling (705) 897-2503.
During this Christmas Concert, Horizon students will play traditional and modern Christmas songs. The wide assortment of songs will promote the students’ immense musical talent as well as the quality of the music program offered by this French Catholic secondary school.
This Christmas activity is presented by the Horizon music committee consisting of students, teachers and members of the community and former Horizon students. Well-known Franco-Ontarien personality Stef Paquette will host this special event.
The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
