The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon is pleased to offer once again its Centre des petits program at École Notre-Dame-du-Sault (600 North St., Sault Ste. Marie) starting on March 21. This program seeks to support the future academic success of preschoolers. This free program enables youngsters between two and four years of age to play with their friends, parents or guardians while improving their French-language skills.
This program will be offered by an educator on Tuesday and Thursday, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Centre des petits will support parents in their efforts to prepare their child to start kindergarten in a French-language school.
The Centre des petits will enable your child:
- to express themselves and play and learn in French through songs, rhymes, prayer, stories, games and a variety of activities;
- to develop their creativity and imagination;
- to develop self-esteem in a Catholic environment;
- to learn at an individual pace;
- to become initiated to school life and environment; and
- to develop and maintain relationships with future classroom friends.
