Mr. Stéfane Noël de Tilly, teacher at École Ste-Marie (Azilda), was rewarded for his excellence, his passion and his innovation in education by winning the IDÉLLO 2021 Award in the French-language school teacher in Ontario category during of the Groupe Média TFO 2021 IDÉLLO Awards Gala held on March 31. This Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon teacher is one of four exceptional people recognized for their innovation in the Francophone and Francophile school environment in Canada. The recipients of the IDÉLLO Awards are rewarded for the relevance and originality of their teaching practices, their promotion of the French language and Francophone culture, the integration of digital and new technologies in education as well as the attention given to equity and inclusion.
As a teacher, Stéfane Noël de Tilly stands out for his ability to direct students' energy, adapt to their learning style and innovate in his educational projects. At École Ste-Marie, he succeeded in building his students' leadership by coordinating their participation in various projects such as the school’s student radio and chess clubs. Recognized for his Francophone pride, musical talents and passion for sciences, Stéfane sets himself apart by his desire to provide students dynamic learning experiences in the various academic subjects studied.
"Stéfane is well known for his energy, passion and creative ideas as well as his ability to motivate his students to learn and to inspire his colleagues to excel," says Ms. Marie-Soleil Beites, École Ste-Marie Principal. “Through concrete activities in the classroom, he ensures that his students benefit from enriching experiences and learn through discovery. Having the success of students and their socio-emotional needs at heart, he stands out for his ability to accept and love each and every student. Stéfane takes great pride in his students and they are all important to him. "
The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon offers a French-language Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSC Nouvelon provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 6,100 students enrolled in 27 elementary, 1 virtual school and 10 secondary schools.
