May 25, 2021

In the coming weeks, Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon elementary schools will be offering a warm drive through welcome to children who are starting Kindergarten in September 2021 as well as their parents/guardians. All families having registered their children in a French-language Catholic school are invited to the “Bienvenue à la maternelle” (Welcome to Kindergarten) event. It is still possible for parents of children born in 2017 to register their child in a CSC Nouvelon school.

This welcoming activity will allow parents whose children start Kindergarten this fall to develop ties with their school and to establish a strong relationship from the start. In an effort to promote a smooth transition to Kindergarten, this event will include a few activities for children and parents that can be completed while remaining in their vehicle. Parents will receive important information relating to speech development, social and daycare services, as well as school transportation. The future Kindergarten students will also receive a few fun and educational gifts to keep them occupied all summer until they start school in September.
