April 26, 2021

With the intention to support families during this pandemic, the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon Parents’ Participation Committee is offering during the month of April a series of techno-educational workshops. In light of the important contributions of parents to the learning and well-being of students, these workshops aim to assist families as they continue to support their children in their learning. The last of this series of virtual workshops, led by CSC Nouvelon techno-educational specialists, will be offered via Microsoft Teams.

Wednesday, April 28, 9:55 a.m. & 3:55 p.m.

Technological Helping Tools: One Step Closer to Success workshop

Ms. Mélanie Lamarche-Wing, Learning Consultant at CSC Nouvelon, will show parents whose children have an individualized Education Plan (IEP) and assistive technology where to find related resources. Parents will become familiar with the many assistive technology functions, software and applications available to their child. They will be able to identify those related to the specific needs of their child and, above all, get involved in the learning and educational use of their child's assistive learning technology.

These techno-educational workshops are offered to families of the CSC Nouvelon. To register, visit: www.nouvelon.ca/ateliers or call 705 673-5626 or 1-800-259-5567.
