During the night of Wednesday, October 9, some 75 students from École secondaire catholique Champlain (Chelmsford) along with staff members will take part in the 14th annual Homeless for a Night initiative. This
awareness activity will begin at 4 p.m. on the ÉSC Champlain school property located at 61 Brookside Road in Chelmsford and conclude on Thursday, October 10, at 8 a.m.

With only cardboard boxes and tarps for shelters, students will experience the reality of being homeless. They will also collect non-perishable food items and monetary donations. Community members are encouraged to
stop by for a visit and donate to this great cause. All past participants are also invited to partake in the evening and stand in solidarity.

The monetary donations will be used to purchase winter clothing for the less fortunate in the community as well as items for the Sudbury Infant Food Bank and the Chelmsford Food Bank, which will also accept all food
donations collected during the event.
