The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon recently approved the placement of school principals and vice-principals for the 2024-2025 school year.
The CSC Nouvelon proudly announces the appointment of Ms. Marie-Soleil Beites as Principal at École St-Étienne (Dowling) in replacement of Mr. Alain Girouard who will be on a secondment at the Ministry of Education.
Ms. Stéphanie Leblanc will serve as Principal at École Ste-Thérèse (Val Thérèse). Ms. Andrée Blanchette will hold the position of Vice-Principal at École Ste-Marie (Azilda). Additionally, Ms. Kathy Arcand was appointed as Vice-Principal at École Notre-Dame (Hanmer).
We offer our warmest congratulations to Mr Girouard, who will enjoy some experience at the provincial level and wish him a great deal of success in this new adventure. The CSC Nouvelon also wishes to welcome Mr. Michel Larivière, who has accumulated relevant experience with the Sudbury Catholic District School Board, to the position of Vice-Principal at École secondaire catholique Champlain (Chelmsford). This experienced educator has held a variety of teaching positions from kindergarten to grade 13. He has also taken on leadership roles including coach, sports tournament organiser, mentor, and school principal. Michel Larivière is passionate about the development and growth of his students and staff along with sharing knowledge. He is proud to be able to exercise his leadership in a Catholic and Francophone school environment.

The Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon offers a French-language Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSC Nouvelon provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 5,650 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
