Book Fairs to take place in CSCNO schools

Several Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario schools will be hosting a book fair featuring French-language books and educational products this month. The book fairs will allow students and their families to choose from a variety of French-language educational products such as books, videos, DVDs, software, and educational games. The book fairs will also benefit the schools, as part of the profits will go towards the purchase of new educational resources. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
A new school board trustee will represent CSCNO constituents in Zone 1

During its January 29 board meeting, the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) proceeded with the selection of a new school board trustee to represent constituents living in North Shore’s Zone 1. Mr. Normand Courtemanche was the selected candidate and will serve in this position until the next school board elections in 2022. The position of trustee for Zone 1 became available following the resignation of Mr. Gabriel Trembly who was elected during last fall’s school board election.

Kindergarten Registration at CSCNO schools on January 21-25

Parents wishing to register their child in a French-language Kindergarten program are invited to come discover Conseil scolaire catholique de Nouvel-Ontario’s elementary schools during its Kindergarten Registration event from Monday, January 21, to Friday, January 25. This event will be of interest to parents of children born in 2015 who will be attending school in September 2019. All parents are cordially invited to attend, along with their families.
