On Thursday, May 30, Collège Notre-Dame’s Le Bistro singing café will present its new repertoire to the public. The show will begin at 6:30 pm and take place in the senior’s cafeteria at the school located at 100 Lévis Street in Sudbury. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at Collège Notre-Dame’s main office or at the door prior to show time. Snacks will also be available for purchase during the intermission. All profits will go towards Sudbury’s Place des Arts as well as to the school’s music program.
Le Bistro will present hits by Francophone artists, a few English hits translated into French as well an original song composed by grade 10 students. The production, guided by teacher Ms. Renée Dupuis, will please music enthusiasts of all ages. Launched in 2006, Le Bistro finds its musical inspiration in blues, rock, country, folk music, and, of course, in francophone music. Additionally, there will be a display of artwork produced by Collège Notre-Dame’s art students as well as a silent auction.
