This exclusive three-day event, presented by Microsoft, will bring together 300 of the most innovative educators from around the world and provide them with the opportunities to discuss, collaborate, create and share their experiences on how to integrate technology with pedagogy to advance learning, improve student outcomes, and transform education.

Mr. Laliberté is a certified Microsoft Innovative Education Expert and Trainer. His passion for technology and the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) approach has had a positive impact on his entire teaching staff, who are all currently certified Microsoft Innovative Educators. Additionally, ESC Champlain was recognized this year as a Microsoft Showcase School, making it the only school to earn that designation in all of Northern Ontario, and one of the few French-language schools in the province to receive this coveted status.

“We are thrilled that Mr. Laliberté will have the opportunity to participate in this international event and share his proficiency about this important facet of education with other experts,” stated

Ms. Lyse-Anne Papineau, Director of Education at the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario. “Our students and staff already benefit from his level of expertise. This forthcoming event and experience gained from it will undoubtedly allow him to continue to be a leader in the integration of technology at all levels of learning.”

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
