The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) is proud to announce that Mr. Daniel Bourgeois has been appointed as Director of Human Resources. Mr. Bourgeois brings his educational training in administrative management and relevant experience in this field to the position, which he will take up on March 18, 2019.

Daniel Bourgeois began his career at the CSCNO in 2012 as coordinator of accounting services, where he responsible of financial statements and management oversight of government grants, purchasing, finances and payroll. Sessional professor at Laurentian University’s School of Commerce et Administration, Daniel Bourgeois previously worked at the office of the Auditor General of Canada.

Daniel Bourgeois can draw on broad expertise that will be highly useful in his new position. Thanks to his knowledge of the educational environment and CSCNO priorities, he is ideally suited to lead the human resources team and ensure the efficient and responsible management of the CSCNO.

“Since his arrival at the CSCNO, Daniel has shown remarkable leadership capabilities in the fields of finance and institutional management,” explained CSCNO Director of Education, Lyse-Anne Papineau. “Daniel stands out by his superior understanding of the CSCNO’s multi-year strategic plan and the overall structure and functioning of our school board.”

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
