Mr. André Bidal, Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) President, and Ms. Lyse-Anne Papineau, CSCNO Director of Education, are proud to announce the nomination of Mr. Paul Henry and Ms. Tracey-Lynn Foucault to the position of Superintendent of Education. Mr. Henry and Ms. Foucault each possess a rich and varied experience in teaching and school administration at the elementary and secondary levels in Ontario.

Paul Henry began his career in education in 1990, and over the last 20 years has held the positions of Vice-Principal and Principal at various CSCNO elementary and secondary schools. Mr. Henry also served as a learning consultant at the CSCNO and senior specialist in education at the Ontario Ministry of Education, as well as mentor, facilitator and associate professor at a variety of educational and post-secondary institutions.

A teacher in Ontario since 1996, Ms. Tracey-Lynn Foucault launched her career at the CSCNO at the secondary school level in 1998. Highly appreciated for her teaching expertise, Ms. Foucault also worked in an editorial capacity at the Ontario Ministry of Education, where she contributed to the revision of the Ontario curriculum. She also worked as Learning Consultant for the Centre franco-ontarien de ressources pédagogiques. Since 2016, Ms. Foucault has served as Vice-Principal and Principal at various CSCNO schools.

In their respective roles as superintendent, Paul Henry and Tracy-Lynn Foucault will guide the schools that are under their supervision and continue to advance the work that has already begun in fostering the development of professional learning communities. They will also be responsible for ensuring that target results are met within CSCNO’s multi-year strategic plan.

“Ms. Foucault and Mr. Henry’s expertise are highly relevant, and we are thrilled to continue to be in a position to benefit from their expertise,” stated CSCNO President André Bidal. “Through their knowledge of various Ministry initiatives and CSCNO annual priorities, they will contribute to the success of our students and strengthen our network of French-language Catholic schools.”

“With more than 20 years of experience in the field of education, Paul and Tracey-Lynn will each hold an important leadership position and help the CSCNO to continue to provide a French-language Catholic education that is recognized for its quality and vitality,” explained CSCNO Director of Education Lyse-Anne Papineau. “In addition to their broad understanding of the realities of our schools and communities, Paul and Tracey-Lynn will benefit from their vast knowledge of learning programs pertaining to the elementary and secondary school curriculum.”

Both Paul Henry and Tracy-Lynn Foucault will take up their new Superintendent of Education positions on April 1, 2019.

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students enrolled in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
