On Thursday, June 15, École secondaire catholique l’Horizon (Val Caron) will host a variety of activities for its own students as well as students and staff from its feeder schools during the school’s Festival des Aigles. It will be a fun-filled day whose goal is to encourage students to socialize and come together in a festive atmosphere. The day’s activities will take place at ÉSC l’Horizon, 1650 Valleyview in Val Caron.

From 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., grades 7 and 8 students and staff from École Notre-Dame (Hanmer), École Ste-Thérèse (Val Thérèse) and École Jean-Paul II (Val Caron) will join Horizon students for snacks and a barbecue lunch while enjoying inflatable games, clown makeup, hairdo sessions and musical presentations.

ESC l’Horizon students will celebrate their school’s athletes in a morning sports gala then join the festivities from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario offers a French Catholic Educational Program that is widely recognized for its excellence. The CSCNO provides a quality learning environment and academic program that runs from early childhood to adult education, with some 7,000 students in 27 elementary and 10 secondary schools.
