During its recent board of trustees meeting held on March 26, 2014 the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) approved the placement of school principals and vice-principals for the 2014-2015 school year.

From Monday, March 31 to Friday, April 4, students from four Conseil scolaire du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) elementary schools in Greater Sudbury will interact with Native leaders in a learning activity that will enable both students and teaching staff to benefit by discovering the bounty of Métis and First Cultures. Members of the media are invited to attend.

CSCNO High school students to learn and discover Native traditions

On Tuesday, April 1, and Thursday, April 3, Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario  (CSCNO) students in Sudbury will take part in a learning activity that will allow them to discover Native traditions. The activity will be offered at Collège Notre-Dame (100 Lévis St., Sudbury) on Tuesday, April 1, from 8 :30 to 11 a.m., and at École secondaire du Sacré-Cœur (261 Notre-Dame Ave., Sudbury) on Thursday, April 3, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Members of the media are invited to attend.

École Ste-Marie and École Saint-Joseph students finish 4th and 5th at the provincial Cardboard Boat Race competition

On March 5, three teams representing the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO) took part in the Elementary Provincial Cardboard Boat Races held in Waterloo. CSCNO students were very successful among the 21 competing teams with École Ste-Marie (Azilda) finishing 4th overall, while the teams from École Saint-Joseph (Wawa) finished 5th and École Alliance St-Joseph (Chelmsford) was 12th.
