École St-Étienne has been providing quality French language Catholic education to the children of the Dowling community for 50 years now. Despite its modest size, St-Étienne remains a cornerstone of community life and an integral part of the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO). The school has long made its mark through community involvement and charitable work. The school offers quality education to the families of Dowling, Levack, Onaping Falls and Cartier.
To celebrate its 50th anniversary, École St-Étienne is hosting a homecoming evening on Saturday, May 5, for all former students, families and staff who studied or worked at the school since its creation in 1968. The celebration will begin at 4 p.m. with a tour of the school, followed at 5 p.m. by dinner and dance at the Dowling Community Centre. Don’t miss this great opportunity to celebrate your roots and memorable moments lived at École St-Étienne!
Tickets are available at École St-Étienne, Roger’s Valu-Mart in Dowling and Klazine Products in Chelmsford’s Place Bonaventure at a cost $30 for dinner and dancing and $15 for just the dance portion. Alternatively, you may call the school at 705-855-4333. Don’t wait, as ticket sales end on April 20. So mark Saturday, May 5, 2018 in your calendar, because 50 Years of success are well worth celebrating!
